My parents drove 12 hours to spend 7 days with my beloved children. I thought this would be great for the kids since they don't get to spend much time together. I mean who wouldn't want to spend 7 days and nights with a 13 year old teenage boy who is going through puberty, a stubborn as a mule, feisty 8 year old girl and a precious 7 month old eating, peeing, pooping machine? Apparently it was much more than the grandparents bargained for.
We arrived home around 7pm on a Sunday night and my parents couldn't get out of our house fast enough! They left at 5 am the VERY NEXT morning! It left me wondering, "Are my kids that bad?"
